Each week, you will meet with your discussion group.

• The first is the discussion of the readings and its relationship to the primary sources listed for the week.
  • As a group, you will analyze a selection of the documents using either: Primary Source Discussion Questions or questions I give at the start of class.
  • You will be asked to analyze the significance of the documents and how it/they can be used to further understanding of the historical questions being examined.
  • At the end of each discussion, your group will turn in a 1-2 page summary of your findings or something similar based on handouts in class.
